Just curious...who sold an SC Signature Standard...which yours is...for $6500?  That's close to the price of a brand new one.

Well to answer you with the particular question,a fellow well known member Pierre Yves just sold his and listed for sale on this forum, also may look at the for sale section Sc signature deluxe cocobolo top.but my question for you is, and your personal opinion what my mint-to NEW Stanley clarke with all the upgrades of a Stanley Clarke Deluxe should be worth? I don't know where can you buy a New Stanley Clarke whether is a standard-Deluxe model for the price you are trying to quote, and if find it let me know perhaps I can buy it for future investment.kindly and with all my respect to yourself my ad says best offer. Thanks for your feedback.

Bass Central has a similar one for $7199, so $6500 OBO for a new unplayed SC is not unreasonable.

Pierre-Yves is in Europe and their prices do not reflect typical US pricing. It is not uncommon to see similar instruments sold in Europe go for $1500-$2000 more than they would in the US.

Not trying to ruffle your feathers Miguel.  As Keith just pointed out, Alembics in Europe usually go for a higher price than here in the States.  Also Pierre's bass was a Deluxe, not a Standard.  So really, you're not comparing apples to apples, so to speak.  Best of luck with your sale.

The other issue Miguel is that Pierre-Yves bass was Coco Bolo, yours is Buckeye Burl. I think that your price is fair and it will sell, but Buckeye would be a smaller part of the market in my view. Just hang in there, and remember that newer instruments are never an investment. For folks just looking for an Alembic, there are lots of Series basses in your price range. A pretty nice one (plain color with vermillion fretboard) came up here just a few weeks ago for $3500!
