VERY tempting offer.  Pay $500+ for exactly what I want (5 knobs), or buy these and an extra knob for $150 savings . . . . . . . . . . .  There are lots of MK basses made out of cocobolo whose owners would love this set of knobs, so I will wait for Christmas.  Still very tempting.

LOL.  If I could make a fifth to match this, I would.  These are extras that need a home. They normally sell for $400 for the set of 4.

Just a question, and probably a dumb one - how do the LEDs get power? Can you use them on any bass?

You can use them on bass or guitar.  They have watch batteries in them.  The lid comes off to replace the batteries and also acts as the switch.  Close it all the way and the light is on.  Open it slightly and the light is off.  There are pictures of some in the forums here.

I see the thread...are these the actual knobs? I don't have a cocobolo guitar and don't know what katalox is. I want to know how they'll look on some guitar I may have

These are very similar to the actual knobs.   Katalox is a chocolate brown wood.   The knobs in the pix in the thread are also Cocobolo over Katalox.

Any possibility the LEDs can be changed to amber?   Remember I sent you an email a while back asking for just this sort of thing.   Coco Bolo knobs with amber LEDs embedded.
 
If they can be outfitted with amber, I'm interested.  Also, you have 4 available.  My Series II has 8 knobs.  Which of the knobs are available and can the rest of the set be completed?

I cannot complete the set for 8 pots.  I don't have anymore of the quilted Cocobolo.   I can make you a new set of 8.
