I also have a pickup that I do not need. It has never been installed in any bass. Dimensions are 4 1/8 x 1 3/4 including the ears.

Stephenr, maybe...I am in the middle of finishing a Rickenbacker copy build started by someone else and trying to figure out what electronics to use; am leaning towards Alembic so it's a seamless backup but I am not locked in yet...if you're not in a super hurry give me a week or so to get the neck carved and my direction settled then I'll know what's going in it...Tony

I gave you the dimensions since it may be a five string pickup, never been sure if that is an S or a 5 on the green label. You may want to contact Mica to confirm that it can be used in a four-string bass. What type of preamp were you thinking of using?

I was going to ask Mica for the Distillate schematic so they are the same...neck is almost finished carving so I better get on the electronics, as I have a bridge on the way, and then the paralyzing horror of deciding what colour...Tony
