Beautiful alembic 4 string excel, great tone, plays like a dream. Owned this for 2 years, been one of a string of purchases I've made in the past 5 or so years looking for the right fretted 4 string that serves all my purposes. Might be a pipe dream... anyway, this lasted a while but I'm favoring the fender these days. Very good condition, two small dings, one on the back of each horn (pics)

Currently has some nylon wound strings on, I forget the brand. Was an interesting experiment, they sound a bit brighter than I thought they would, but they're very easy on the right hand. Throwing in a brand new set of Warwick strings just in case you don't like the nylons, plus a roadrunner hardcase. Little extra shwag for ya!

Not intending to hijack your thread but...

Are you the original owner of my 2004 essence walnut fretless?
It's the bass Alembic uses to showcase 'superb walnut'.
Rbeck sold it to me about a year ago.

I have many basses to choose from but was just playing it while going over a bunch of tunes for a show tonight. (which will be played with upright)

Love this bass and it is serving me well!
