Just bought a pair of F1-X pre-amps each in great shape - no noise, minimal surface wear and works as it should without any scratchy pots or noise.  Got one of them with an SF-2 as a package that made the price for the SF-2 really good - don't need both F1-Xs.   Price is $450 shipped within the U.S., safely packed and insured - 48 hour inspection and right of return if not completely satisfied.  You will like it!!!  Todd

Todd, thanks.  I will think on it and let you know.  I know I want one eventually, and dealing with someone (a) from this board and (b) locally is best.  I just gotta figure out whether I can justify the expense right now.  So, if you get an offer from someone else, go for it.  If not I'll let you know after Presidents' Day (going on a little vacation) and maybe we can arrange a meet up in the city.  Thanks again.

 I just received an F2-B which I won't get to plug in to next weekend - when I do, I belive the F1-X will be available - you'll have first shot at it.  I'll write on Friday night.
