I am offering a spectacular, EARLY, series I small body short scale walnut bass for sale.  This is an extraordinary instrument in that it spent almost all of its life in storage. The finish is original and outstanding, minimal wear. Very lightweight at around 8 lbs. The instrument comes with original owner's manual, case, cable and silver power pack, all in excellent condition.  Serial number is 147.  Price is $4500 plus shipping and is non-negotiable.  To anyone looking for a near mint, early Series I that plays perfectly (low action, no buzz) and sounds amazing, here is a great one.  I will send more pictures to anyone who is seriously interested.  Opportunities to acquire un-messed with, early Alembics that are time-pieces are few and far between.  Please feel free to write or call me at 631 807-9038 with any questions. Local pickup is available on Long Island or in NYC. Build info can be found at http://club.alembicguitars.net/Images/394/75091.html?1272051960,
Thanks Todd
