Way too nice of a guitar for me I've come to realize.  Bought new, I think it was back in 2002.  
 
No issues, and very little play time.  As a matter of fact it has spent most of its life in a case in a climate controlled environment.

I used to have one of these myself. I felt the same way, for what I used it for the abalone was very lavish.
