Alex, I received the photo and am interested in learning more about purchasing this instrument.  
 
A friend recently told me that all Alembic basses prior to 1995 have the Q filter.  I already own a 1981 series I and am in love with the tone flexibility it offers.  I'm also interested in confirming the neck scale for this bass, and what the controls are:  Volume, pan, Q filter and Q filter switch?  Will this Spoiler have a similar sound to my series I?  
 
I would like to go play an instrument similar to this one before I make a commitment to buy.  Anyone within 100 miles of Louisville, KY owning a similar bass to this one?  I'd be buying dinner and some beverages if so.    
 
You mention I am responsible for shipping.  So, I will need a quote on the shipping costs.  
 
The reason I am back posting on the Alembic Club is for some suggestions about how to perform an acceptable transaction with a club member from Israel (Alex's location).  Not certain how I can be sure I'm receiving the bass and Alex can be sure he is receiving the money.  Can the bass be sent COD?  Any other suggestions are appreciated.
