For sale is a set of Alembic jazz pickups with preamplifier. These are plug and play installation so no soldering required.
Standard Jazz size (bridge slightly wider than neck)

The controls are v,v, filter for the jazz bass purist and there is a trim pot inside to tweak the filter. This model is no longer made in that the control configuration was changed to volume, pan, filter. The current model costs over $1k.

$475 shipped

To be clear, these are 2jazz style activators with the alembic filter preamp.
I have them in my jazz at the moment so will get some pictures up in their current habitat.
Also, I can do $450 shipped .
Thanks for looking

Can I switch one of the V pots for a blend pot ?
I am interested for sure....
I have pickups already, but need a preamp, etc.
My Alembic : - 2002 Excel
                    - 1992 Europa
                    - 1991 Essence

Thanks for the interest.
I would guess you could replace the pot to a blend but would ask Mica to be sure.
I'll get a picture of the preamp up tomorrow.

Why are you selling them? Did you not like the way they sounded or ??? What are the characteristics of the sound? Thanks

sporad

the reason for selling  is because im looking to sell the bass they were in and would rather put the original pickups back .
I think they sound great! Super quite and super wide dynamic range. They can go from crystalline highs to dubby lows.  If I had another jazz I would probably put them in it. But right now I am looking to buy more gear and need funds.

I can go as low as $410.
Otherwise I'll probably keep them for my next jazz.

Congrats on the sale! I was surprised they went unsold for so long.
