A stack of Meyer CP-10s were available on Ebay recently for $600 each. If I had some cash, I would have purchased one.

Sir Synapticgroove ____ In my opinion ;  An Alembic SF-2 would greatly enhance any combination of instruments and amplification equipment .

synapticgroove

Sonicus,

That's what I thought and thank you for the feedback!

How is it insulting to the Wickershams to build something for yourself that's not commercially available? If anything, I would think it's an homage. All of these things are tools to make music, not sacred objects to render worship.

I can understand a problem if someone decides to try to manufacture it and sell it as an Alembic, that's a definite foul, but thinking about making one for myself shouldn't inspire negativity toward me.

sonicus

Edwin , I can dig what you speak  my brother . I just do NOT want to step on a current prospective product re -release of Alembic Inc.  Alembic Inc , must prevail  with their original product  inovations to the music industry .After all Alembic was a game changer with their inovations .   My understanding is that  a new  IN-2  is still up and comming . All positive love and respect on my part .

Oh, I know all that. The reason I haven't ever gotten around to it is that I keep hoping that the reissue is just around the corner.

Boy, I remember those UTC transformers from back in the day. they were awfully nice.

Right back atcha! We gotta hang one of these years.

sonicus

Edwin , YES  ,  Quite certainly !    Our inner Zeitgeist already have met  it seems!  Due to this  Alembic Club Social Media phenomenon.

I am not negative toward you Edwin - not at all.
What I believe about myself, I would never inflect upon others.

What Wolf said.

I have led a bit of a personal campaign to get the IN-2 back into production.
