does this bass balance well in a strap? my friend has one that looks  a lot like this (the bernie rico autograph on on the back etc.) but it has the clouds and the neck drops.

Yes it does balance well,This is a real deal made in USA,don't know about the new ones though!It has the R logo on the headstock,and the serial number on the back,just played last night it has incredible tones. passive/active,rotary switch,pup's selector,master vol,vol,tone controls etc.endless playability.Thanks.it may find a new home anytime soon,many inquiries with good offers.
