Sorry about the miscommunication, the bass has shipped this afternoon (you will receive an automated email with the tracking details). I checked dad's schedule and it appears your bass has had the first round of calibrations, and he estimates he'll complete the process over the next 3-4 days.

Hey Mica,

DP arrived safe and sound today - thanks again.

It was a particularly hot and humid day today.  The UPS guy really earned his pay lugging it up my steps.

Great news Rami, the long wait finally (though partly) over. Please post some pictures of the Dark Prince when you have the chance.

Rami,
I can feel the Earth shake from all the way over here in Indiana!

Paul,
It looks as though I'm going to be passing through Montreal on July 31st enroute to Nova Scotia (really).  I guess I'll have to pack my stocking (and a back brace).  Don't tell Rami...

It's officially done:

With all the catching up, I'm afraid this probably won't be shipping until next week. I'll email you off-club for shipping address and other details.

rami

I'm totally blown away....

I'll just sit here a while and stare.

Holy smokes......

Absolutely Beautiful.  Congrats Rami.  You've added another masterpiece.

Hey Rami, shall I try it first..... (I'll never give it back...)

bracheen

That is magnificent! Congratulations Rami.

Rami - your bass is a truly awesome instrument. I was in Santa Rosa on Tuesday and saw it in person. It is larger than many of the other instruments around the shop and has a commanding presence. Congratulations!

I was trying to come up with the right word to describe this beauty, but I think Brother Bracheen got it right....

Congratulations, Rami.
Correction: there is 'much' money to be made above the fifth fret....

rami

Thanks guys,

I must admit to being a little intimidated by it myself.  It's almost more art than instrument.  An Alembic showpiece, like the others.
