Any update would be greatly appreciated.

Dad's finishing up a repair for an ooooold seventies bass with Superfilters (don't worry dela, I will post pictures when it's done), then he'll be doing the upgrade on your bass and modifying the power supply with the stereo mode switch. He's going to email you today so you guys can go over the customizations and make sure we're all on the same page.

That's all I needed.  I just thought of that Mode selector as a tribute to my old McIntosh amp. It was made in '63 - now that's old!  It was their first ever integrated amp. The MA230.  Still sounds awesome.

Your Black Byrd is sitting pretty, waiting in the line of Series II calibrations. I'm not sure how much longer it will be, especially since the 6-strings seem to be the most challenging. I'll let you know when it's on the bench and past the first hurdle, then we can actually make a time estimate.

Any news about BB or DP?

I'm pretty sure DP is ready to come home. I'll do an inspection on Monday (or perhaps Sunday) and let you know.  
 
There are still a few calibrations in front of BB, So I don't think it will get on the bench for another week or two. I will let you know when it's on the bench and what the first round indicates, that is, if dad thinks BB is an easy or hard one. The last 3 he did went amazingly fast, so let's hope for the best!

Nope, I saw BB in the setup room and not DP. Bob says it will be out of spray in a couple of days. Since it will need to rest at least a week, perhaps the two will come home together shortly.
