You can eleminate the superior right hole (on the side that has two holes) , this 3/1 configuration for me is the best one ! Like MM basses. Do you think that this peghead will look great with Rogue body ? I don't like big/wide pegheads.

Paulo.
The rogue is already a pretty small body - my wife thinks mine is 'cute', so I don't think you'll have a problem with it being slightly larger. The peghead shape goes really well with the rogue bodyshape - kind of gives it a 'moving forward' look. Here's mine to give you some idea of how it would look...

I always seem to find something happening on your bass!

Chip has the backplate parts cut out. It's already looking good.

Many thanks Mica ! The wood is great !

Getting ready to cut the peghead shape. Here's the redrawn 4-string as you requested:

Chip's waiting to cut until we hear from you that this is what you had in mind.

Perfect Mica ! It is what I was looking for !

Peter was carving your bass when I took this picture:

Meanwhile, Chip was getting the pickup covers made:

Looks like it's getting mighty close here:

As far as I can tell, it looks like it's in the final cure stage.

David Houck

Wow!  That looks really nice!

olieoliver

I agree. WOW. The wood on this look superb! I am kind of partial to the maples but this walnut could convert me.

jacko

I love the contrast between the walnut and the mahogany. Nice choices. The walnut looks really special under the finish.

Rubbed out and waiting for the hardware to come back from the plater:

I don't think you got to see the golden mother of pearl inlays yet. We got lucky with this piece - it's a big area to get one large chunk of shell that has string color through and through.   The pickups should get rubbed out any day. Here's one all glossy with wet paint:
