The body is actually a light color Mahogany. Here's the guitar with the slightly modified Wineburst finish, rubbed out and ready for final buffing:

 
It's modified because we didn't apply the sheer black on the outside edge. Everyone here kept looking at this guitar and thinking it really didn't need it, as it was so pretty already. We called Mark and asked if it was okay if we omitted it, and he agreed. Just today a few of us here were admiring how nice it was turning out. Can't wait to see it all shiny!
 
So this is now Wineburst and the one with black at the edge is Vintage Wineburst.

As usual, in person, it's much nicer. Burst finishes and colors in general are harder for me to photograph - I'm so used to Coco Bolo.

We don't see nearly enough Skylarks around here! A beauty too!
