Your bass is in preset right now:

That means it's time for the inlays (including the custom one @ th 12th fret) and frets to go in. We'll also set up the bass and send the hardware to the goldplater while the rest of the finish work is completed.

I will be in San Francisco the end of July. Any chance the bass will be ready by then? It will save a bunch of air freight and taxes for me...

Chances are that it will be ready for you to carry home. We are about a 45 minute drive from the Golden Gate Bridge, so I hope you'll have a half a day to come and pick up your bass, meet the staff and take the tour while you're in the area.
