Feeling a bit better, thanks, just need to catch up on some sleep  Your bass is in the final cure, so in a few days we'll be able to start the rubout, buffing and then the setup. I am hopeful for a May or early June birthday depending on how cooperative it is during the calibration.

Those are something I'd be interested in myself, so i'm curious in understanding how those bass and treble cut switches work. Do they just add/ cut like they do on an Europa bass in other words independent of the filter position or do they operate in conjunction with the position of the filter in some way?
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

That is a great question. My initial thought/guess/hope is independent like the Distillate/Europa. I have only seen this type of configuration on the 2003 FC Big Bass but it has pots instead  of switches. http://www3.alembicguitars.net/img/12958_bodyfront.jpg

I found two other FC series basses that have either B or B & T pots, but no switches.

Can't imagine this will be the first series bass set up like this?

Just chillin...

The switches are Europa-esque. I can't recall if we've done them before on a Series or not, it's not something that we actually track.
