Here's one with the sandwich view:

The pictures are all taken at different times of the day with available light. The Coco Bolo fingerboard will get a little darker once oiled, but the striking grain will still be visible.

The Vermilion starts out lighter, and darkens with age. This piece had oxidized less than others in storage, and so we started with it since Michael wanted a lighter color. As with all Vermilion, it will darken over time, but good habits, like keeping it in the case when you're not playing will keep the light from changing the color as quickly. It's a striking piece with interlocked grain.

Why do I have guys finishing my back yard, when I could be buying one of these?

Preset,is that like close to,in my hands?

mica

Preset is about half through finish, when the frets go in. It's still got to return to the spray run and get the rest of the finish applied. So you've still got some time to wait.
