Well I finally made it. Got my first Alembic! An Essence 4 with a beautiful birds-eye/quilt maple top, purpleheart accent and maple pinstrip. Your simple vol/pan/filter setup and abalone inlays. Just got it today and I absolutely love it! Feels great, sounds amazing. Just need to make a couple minor adjustments and away I go! Here are some web pics. Haven't taken my own yet.

Thanks guys. Yeah the top is gorgeous. Really shimmers in the light. I still can't get over the wide range of tones it's capable of just using the pan and filter.
