This is one vicious playing ax.  

 

Essence is the perfect name for this ax. It is as if it is the distillation of the most essential qualities of the ultimate bass. It's light,. fast, and sounds like thunder when I spank it.  

 

Looks great!  I'm partial to the early all Maple Essence four string basses.
