Mike, i think top wood is 'vermilion'. waiting on the offical word from mica. but we all know it ain't maple, and i don't think it's walnut. the bass is AMAZING. i have a bunch of fenders (76 p bass/ 2005 jazz bass 24/ 2001 mim fretless) and a lakland 'skyline' but this is THE bass. i'm already trying to figure out how to get a 'maple' top one. i just miss the dots on the fretboard!!!

Welcome to the club. Really nice Epic from another fellow Epic owner. Mine's a fretless 5 with Wenge top. This top looks like Rosewood or CocoBolo. You can ask Mica for the official build record here in the club. It's really a beauty. Enjoy!
