The BEST thing about a PJ Elan?  Showing it to all your Fender/clone Fender playing friends and having them hear it, then just laughing at them for wasting their money!

I hope you like the detuner. I tried them back in the 90's and they just bamboozled the heck outta me. Pushed me into 5 strings, which I love!

They're great indeed, but a bit too great for me... I sold mine last year and went for a simpeler setup, at least that's what I thought...  I got a TC Electronic G-Sharp, Rocktron Patchmate and Mesa/Boogie Abacus midi switcher:  

 

Had a brief revisit with this bass today @ Edwin van Huik's shop. (I traded this Elan for the Series I last year)
