Pat Metheny has a very similar guitar

Michael Hedges had the very famous electric harp guitar built by Steve Klein, which was headless (at least on the regular neck) and with the ergonomic body:

Steve made some full scale plans for the harp guitar which were on sale for a long time, spawning all the Klein electric clones.
