I have a custom in the works and will use the Alembic standard strings to start, but when they're shot, I have a hunch that flats will be a good choice for this instrument.
 
Based on your input and some other reviews, Chromes are the front runners at this point.

Hope you're well and that the fretboard on the Dragonfly is behaving.  Been meaning to shoot you an email to catch up, but you know how that goes.
