Palembic, behave yourself, or we'll have to get moder Val involved . Despite the unfortunate sequence of postings, I believe the correct interpretation is that Edwin was thanking Mica for the photo of his bass under construction. The picture you're referring to is of someone else, quite possibly better known to Edwin but I refuse to speculate about that.

Dear Joe, I would like to be her gigbag......

The logo on my new bass. Where is the right place? Any suggestions?

I propose the fish swimming up from the lower horn???

Paul the bad one

PS: can I be the catch???

Edwin,
I like the location in the second photo but would be concerned that your arm would cover it while playing.  Is that the Superb Walnut?  I like that wood more everytime I see it.  What a beauty.

Hi,

if you want to see the fish better you might want to place it on the upper horn swimming towards the straplock ?

Werner

P.S.: I want to restring the next set please ;-)

Leuten bij Eddie, de hele dag.

Second picture. The same as the other one you have with your name on it.
Why a fish?

palembic

The Fish?

If I remember well Ed's nickname with the Alembicians has always been the fish. Why? Beats me? when under the spotlights his head glimmer as a fish in the water??? Or is he difficult to catch? Ot does he taste very well with a dry white wine?? Or he is a hell of a swimmer?? Or is he making funny movements with his mouth in the morning before the bathroom mirror???
I dunno.

Paul the bad one

To be honest, the symbol is very nice, and the bass key is very cleverly done - but it's very gristelijk as well.

Of course that's not exactly in tune with the multi-string lady ... and I can't believe nobody is interested in a position as the endpin.

Other than that, I think the fish looks best on the peghead - but where would you put the logo?
