Brick Bassist on Series I

Soul Train is playing reruns from the 70's.  I was surprised to see the bass player from Brick playing a wonderful Series I bass.  
 
Any info on who he is and the bass he played?

Regi Hargis Hickman played bass for Brick. (I'm about 90% sure of)

Was that a Series I (or another Alembic) on Dazz?
