...there has been a while since i post... So , i submit to your advised opinions this effect unit : the G-system from tc - electronic !!!
 
It's at first designed for guitar players but after some contacts with tc - elec. , they told me it was also perfect for basses...all the effects like chorus , reverb , ...are not really tailored for guitars or basses , so it can be superb for bass player too ! The only limitation seems to be the tuner and the whawha...
 
I also contacted a bass player who uses it and has never heard such a fantastic thing !!!  
 
...so , before any purchase , do you all have opinions on this G-system effect unit ?

FWIW - I have a TC Electronics Stereo/Chorus/Flange which is easily the nicest sounding Chorus that I have heard.
