Yesterday I once again had to adjust my truss rod tension, and I was just wondering if there's an easy way to determine if they're both pulling on the neck with the SAME tension.      Thanks, in advance!

I check the relief at both sides - in my case the high and low E strings of the guitar.  I'm really not concerned at all with the dual truss rods being "the same".  Rather, I'm concerned with the relief being adjusted correctly on both sides.  I think this is the purpose of the dual truss rods in the first place.

The reason I ask, is that I've got an old (1970?) Les Paul Custom which has a twisted neck, and with just the one truss rod, there's no user fix.  I'd hate for that to happen to my Alembic, so I'm just kind of concerned about it.  Carry on!

Dan, I wouldn't worry about that one.  There is a world of difference in build quality between the notoriously lousy 70's Gibsons and our own beloved Alembics.  Furthermore, the Alembic multi-laminate neck is inherently far more stable than the Gibson one piece Mahogany neck.   IMHO, it's like worrying about your Mercedes because your Yugo fell apart after 50K miles.
