I may get the markbass "Bass Keeper" It looks stable. A very good idea.

Hercules all the way.  I use one of the double stands, and just got one of the foldable floor stands for 3 basses.  They work perfectly, and have never let me down in 6 years of use. 

+1 on the hurcules

+2 on Hercules. I've only used the single ones, but they are great.
