Have an old set of PJ Activators, Vol, Vol, Tone. Would like to add a 3 position Q-switch. Is this possible? Do I need to upgrade to the new Pan Preamp module or can I keep the old system? I can live with the volume difference.

Forgot to add, will Alembic Hat/Collet knobs fit the PJ activator pot shafts (might as well make it look nice:)?

According to the text at the store, the Q-switch works for "any Alembic Activator system with a low-pass filter".  It should therefore follow that you would not need to upgrade the system.

The store also shows that both the hat and collet knobs come in 1/8" and 1/4" sizes.  You should measure the shafts on your pots to see which size you need.
