Greg, I put one of these in the Orion bass I had, it was very easy to install, took me about 15 minutes and it was done.

Installed - it's BRILLIANT! The hard part really, was deciding where to position the ferrite bead after re-routing some wires around... (as with all other things, I'm totally OCD about stuff like that) 

Took just a minute to tweak the trimpots and balance out the bridge and neck pickups. I actually dialed down the neck a twitch, and cranked the bridge a bit. Definitely a BIG improvement, if only in the sense I can now solo the bridge pickup without having to dime the master volume.
