Anyone know what these are called and if they are still available out there? I'm mating pickups with RCA outputs into a circuit board with these. I've temporarily soldered cables with RCAs to the backside of the card, which works fine, but it would be more elegant to do it as originally intended.

LOL! I knew they were some from some cool hi tech thing. I am assuming that you mean microwave transmission stuff and not ovens.

Hm, my link didn't make it, but for anyone who is curious, they are in the Series I/II FAQ.

Yeah, it was a microwave thing, but that doesn't narrow it down much. I'll try to dig the up a part number for you, but it may take some real digging.

Curiously, I can see no photos on this thread at all. But I'm sure Ron and Mica will have the best info for you.

I checked in the purchasing records, but since we haven't bought them in over 30 years, the old files have been stored in the deep recesses here, and I can't schedule a spelunking trip for quite a while. Hopefully dad will remember a clue for us before then.

It's no big deal in the short run, as everything's working, it would just be nice to have it a little bit neater. Definitely put this down at the bottom of your list!
 
On a different note, does the shape of ferrite beads make any difference? I have an Alembic ferrite bead, but the RCA connectors won't fit through it, so I am going to try one that has a bigger opening. I'm also assuming that I should run both pickups and the hum canceler through it.

We don't use the ferrite beads on the Series I and II pickups.

If you find any of those connectors I could use 3 of them for my series I restoration I have been working on for the past couple of years!!
