When I change strings on all my non-Alembic basses, I clean the fretboard with lemon oil. It also lubes the wood and I believe helps keep it in good shape, not to mention it looks nice when finished. I rub the oil into the fretboard, then wipe it dry with a cloth.
 
Is this ok for the Alembic? If not, what is recommended?
