...a Series 1 bass!!!  
 
I still can't believe it's standing right here beside me. I've waited 18 years for this and frankly, I didn't expect to find one on my path so soon. Used Series basses are very rare in Holland.
 
It's a 1978 Series 1, but it looks, plays and sounds like new. Actually it plays and sounds like a dream. Better than any bass I've ever played before!
 
It has a Peruvian Walnut top and back and it features an omega cutout and red side leds with a dimmer.
 
I will take some pictures and post them in the Showcase.
 
This is the real deal. Love this bass to death!

Congrats Duncan, I know just how you feel. I experienced the same euphoria a few months ago myself. Dreamt of owning an Alembic for over 30 years and then BAM it happens. Play it man , just remember to come up for air. LOL
