Here's what I found out about your bass 98 11420 LBII-4:
 
top and back: Spalted Maple
accent laminates: Purpleheart
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple and Purpleheart
fingerboard: Ebony with Mother of Pearl ovals
hardware: goldplated brass
originally sold to: Foto Phono, Norway
birthday: not recorded, but sometime in March, 1998
 
I think this bass might have been used in an advert by the Norwegian distributor in 1998 (before the recent decoraton was added).
