Does anyone have any experience with Hipshot's Grover Rotomatic Guitar Xtenders?  If I put one on my Skylark (Gold Gotohs) will it fit? Thanks, Hollis

I use the hipshot extenders for the bass and they fit OK. I imagine the guitar extenders will be fine too. One thing I have noticed on both my Alembic and Musicman is that under close inspection the machineheads look a fraction smaller than the originals.
The gold Gotohs are the same as Les Pauls aren't they?

My Les Paul is very old...... It has original tuners on it (in other words.. crap), and everyone I know tells me to leave it that way.
 
I have Grovers on my Guild JF-55, I guess if I compare the mounting holes for the Skylark with the Guilds.....
