Very cool.  My vote is that you can post this kind of picture any time you want.  Sounds like a pretty fun gig you have.

That is very cool indeed! Welcome to the club younger

I always liked Brian May's tone.  As I recall, he and his dad built his guitar.

So had to you come to be playing with Brian May?

Younger:

Very cool! Thanks for the pix. Can you provide a better link to your sight so I can view the rest of the Pix w/ Brian? I apologize, but my lack of Russian language skils made it difficult to navigate on the site. You should be very proud that you got to play with someone of his magnitude. You must be quite an accomplished player yourself. Most of us can only dream of getting an opportunity like that!

Dave:

There's a whole site dedicated to Brian and his  tone. The home-made guitar (out of a fireplace mantle I think), the six-pence piece pick, and the modded Vox AC-30's all contibute to his great tone. I'll see if I can find it and I'll post it here.

Hello everybody !
I know the most of you have problem with navigation on my site because of your poor Russian.
I have the same problems when trying to read your answers & e-mails. My friend helps me to translate.
I will make a new site on several languages.
And thank to all for answers !

kmh364

Thanks, Dave. It worked. Brian May hasn't changed much, but Roger Taylor took me a while to recognize, LOL!

Don't sweat it, Younger. I'm sure your English is better than the Russian of most us here.

David Houck

Younger; tell your friend thanks for the translation help!!

Interesting site!  The equipment page especially!

Thanks. I thought so, too. I'm not a huge Queen fan, but I've always dug Brian's style and tone.

BTW, what's become of Queen's rather understated bassist, John Deacon?

David Houck

From what I've read, Deacon retired from music after the release of the last Queen album in 1995.

grateful

Brian May and Roger Taylor are touring as Queen this summer with Paul Rodgers (of Free I think)  replacing Freddy Mercury.  John Deacon is not participating.
