Was just watching The Who's Rockpalast gig and it set me wondering as to what the string spacing was on John's Alembics, given he seemed to prefer a wider spacing than typical for Alembic elsewhere (P Bass, T Bird etc). Anyone have any idea?

I don't have an answer either, but thanks for tipping me off to that show! I hadn't seen this one. The Ox and Stanley started my Alembic obsession about 1981.

It's a great gig. John is just fabulous on it.
