Dave this was one of those lost in the shuffles gems that needed to exposed...
 
I never hear it the same way twice.
 
Stanley was so young and steady through everything Carlos was throwing down. I love the vocals too, the sound is very Angelic and spiritually stimulating as well as emotional for me. I remember my mother's Hi-Fi (the one that looks like a cadenza with a huge wooden lid and built-in speakers (made in the late 60's)) Anyway, coming home from school, she would have this cut playing, and I would just sit on a huge pillow and listen. I must had been about 10 or 11 years old. I am still amazed after all those years and been injected with all kinds of modern sound today, that probably would had discouraged me musically if I didn't know any better
