I have a couple of Alembic Jazz PUPS but they don't have the rest of the activator wiring.
 
Can I just plug them into my Jazz and be up and running?

They need a preamp..ideally an Alembic activator preamp and filter control.
Otherwise they will be quiet and thin sounding ...without an onboard boost there will most likely be extra noise introduced in your sound.
