I don't think I've ever seen such up-close and detailed pics of this bass.
I hope I'm not stealing someone else's thunder by posting this link. Too cool not to mention here.

I saw the FB post as well . There seems to be somewhat a bit of confusion regarding this instrument and assumption and misinformation among some folks who are not in our close Alembic community here . I made a comment regarding the electronics  shown in the photos as well . The photos are indeed a pleasure to view for me .

On many occasions  I saw and heard Mr.Jack Casady play this instrument in very close proximity to my ears and eyes, back in the day . That was with the original electronics.

Appears to still have at least some variation on Series I electronics in there. Great to see that bass in such good shape. I was just thinking - it must be something of a powerful deja vu for RT to hold it after all this time.

The fine tuners and the tail piece assembly are very interesting indeed  :D !
