I've been doing some experiments with recreating some of the brown pickup colors of the early 1970s. Back then, the polyurethane ONLY came in brown, and it wasn't even the same color every time. I've narrowed it down to three main colors, and I'm pretty happy with my first tries of two of them. It will be a little while before I'm able to offer these as options, still working out the kinks, and they will likely also have some amount of color variation as the originals, but I'm pretty sure this is going to make some people very happy.

i run an engraving shop to support my alembic habit and so whenever i embark on a venture like this,  i'll tell my boss "i love a science project!" and he'll roll his eyes and walk away shaking his head.  often as not something pretty cool will result.  good luck with your adventure and don't forget your safety gear!
Been down...now i'm out!

Oh I can do clown vomit - those colors are premixed with pigment. There is no catalog number for "diaper brown" variants however ;)

This could be just the thing for a certain guitar I have in mind.  :)

What type of butter is being used in the brownie mix?

Asking for a friend.   ;)
