I'm not sure if this has been covered in another thread but I was wondering on average, how many basses does Alembic produce in a year? How many of each model? How many are stock versus custom orders?

Around the end of the history for 1974 it says they produce about 1500 instruments a year. That doesn't give the detail you want and I don't know when this was written, but it may give you an idea.

I believe every Alembic is Custom (either for a Dealer or player)
